Summer of Mercedes was developed at the AFI Conservatory under Senior Lecturer, Barry Sabbath. The film placed as a Quarterfinalist in the 2023 Nicholl Fellowship and is now in development with Sundance Feature Jury Winners for the film In the Summers, Sergio Lira and Lynette Coll.
